I'm wondering if anybody else has puttied and sanded their way thru this kit.Dead [xx(]
If so, did you use the Tiger Meet decal? I am nearing that phase of construction and I really, really wanted to do the stripes, but I don't think that much Solvaset is good for my complexionTongue [:P]

Maybe I'll get crazy and airbrush them like Ricardo Dacoba.

I have boult the F3 but not the ECR and didnt use very much filler.
my advise for the tiger stripes is to airbrush the yellow area white first then airbrush yellow.
Cut the black stripes from the decal sheet and use them instead of the experiencing the horror of masking for black- not too much solvaset poisoning or masking tape friction burns after all.

I guess my biggest gripe was the 4 piece intakes, what a fit nightmare!!

The Tiger Meet scheme is from Lechfield(sp) '96. Its a dk grey tiger stripe scheme over a basic compass ghost grey. The way the decals are laid out, there are a lot of compund curves that could cause a problem, not to mention all the clear carrier in between the stripes. If I were to cut each individual stripe out (of which I am now concidering) its like 300 stripes!!

I keep telling myself its going to look great when its done, then I tell myself that I should stick to armor and shipsSmile,Wink, & Grin [swg]
