I have had this kit for some time. I got it bagged with no decals - I don't remember if someone gave it to me or I payed a couple of bucks for it. Anyway, started with the wings in earnest on this sucker. Ginormous step about a third of the way from the leading edge of both wings. I very sure now why the previous owner wanted to be rid of it. I'm committed (or should be committed?) now. This old kit certainly is not for the faint of heart!

I have some Copper State Models bits & decals, along with some Tom's Modelworks bits. I hope I can at least make it look decent. Wink

Can you still not see the images? Because if you don't I don't have any idea what I am doing wrong. I can see them fine and can click on them and make them larger. Is there a setting in Google Photos that I should check??

Well, here is a bit of progress. I'm sure anyone in here that has built a kit from the '60's can attest to the fact that half the battle of a decent outcome is cleaning up the kit parts. Didn't think I was ever going to finish the wings. The Hispano-Suiza engine is completed, just needs primer & paint. Rest of the parts are just taped together so I can work on clearances in the cockpit.

Found some very nice cockpit photos at the Museum of the U.S. Air Force site. Big Smile
