This was a build for a friend, not something  I would choose to do, I really don't like Classic Airframe kits. Anyway, it has a lot of resin in the kit and also the OZ Mods resin tail set for RAAF Hudsons. Not the easiest of kits and a lot work to get things to fit. Not my best work, but glad to see this one behind me.....bad ***.

Camo is Lifecolor, from their 2 RAAF sets, I just can't get the knack of spraying this paint, I have tried many methods and thinning agents, but always hard to spray, which is a shame because  I think they do the best WWII RAAF Colours.

Other paints, Tamiya and vallejo acrylics, Vallejo metal color, Flory dark dirt wash and Vallejo Matte Varnish

Another great build Grant. I have to say that dorsal turret sticks way up. Not much protection for the gunner

I'm not a fan of Classic Airframes kits either. I just gave away three kits I knew I'd never build. Your Hudson looks excellent though. The camouflage looks really nice. Very well done build. I can almost see Dennis Morgan or James Cagney in the left seat of the airplane.

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...

Really nice model you've done there. I agree about those lifecolour paints though. Tried spraying underneath my Boomerang and couldn't get it to spray at all. Ended up getting out my trusty Humbrols, and mixed an exact match for the Lifecolour paint. Sprayed perfectly!

In the queue: 1/48 Beech Staggerwing (RAAF), P38 (RAAF), Vultee Vengeance (RAAF), Spitfire Vb (Malta), Spitfire VIII x2 (RAAF), P39 x2 (RAAF), Martin Baltimore (Malta?), Martin Maryland (Malta), Typhoon NF1b, Hellcat x2 (FAA)
