One of the most difficult kits I've ever built. This is an old model originally proposed by the Italian Artiplast in the late 50s, and recently re-proposed by SMER. Despite being declared in 1/48 scale, actually its effective scale is 1/50. The model has a lot of flaws both in shape and in proportions between the parts, many of which can not be corrected if not self-constructing them, and who knows the kit knows what I'm talking about. I do not want to make a complete list of all the errors in the kit, I will just mention the wrong shape of the wing tank that has been corrected by rebuilding it with epoxy filler. The decals, although very beautiful to look at, were unfortunately extremely thin and very fragile: the only good thing is that they adapt perfectly to the surfaces, thanks also to Mr.Soft that helped me a lot in this phase. For the coloring I based on the indications on the box because, paradoxically, although this is perhaps the most famous CR-32 in history, in the WEB I found many differences regarding the coloring scheme and the colors used. The end result seems to have repaid me of all the efforts made to realize a model worthy of being seen.

Hello Vincenzo!

You're right, it's a very nice looking model. Although it's very clean, thanks to the airbrushed camouflage and the ribs the surface of the model doesn't look plain nor boring. Your struggle to correct the kit really paid off!

Thanks for sharing and have a nice day
