Anyone know if the "new" Airfix Marauder kit is new mold, or a repop?
Don Stauffer in Minnesota
This site says it is the 45 year old kit. I do not know myself, but assume so.

Definitely a rebox of their old kit.

At the plate: 1/48 Airfix Bf109 & 1/35 Tamiya Famo
On deck: Who knows!
The reviews all say repop of the earlier kit with raised panel lines, but has new decals.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Scalemates says it's the 1973 kit, new decals and box.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
Scalemates says re-box as well, from the 1973 original.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Thanks, guys.
Anyone know of a good, recent mold 1:72 Marauder?
Hasegawa did one a few years back https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/8/2/5/104825-96-instructions.pdf
The old Revell Flak Bait kit was one of my favorite airplane kits as a kid.
Don't look at Valoms as they are too fat and long. If you want to do a B-26/B-26A, the only accurate choice is the Monogram Snaptite which is considered to be the only accurate early model. It is a B-4, but it doesn't take much to change it to the original. Rob the parts from a Valom, for cheap. Squadron does make a rear canopy for the conversion.
Hasegawa actually did two releases, one of the B-26C and the other of the B-26F/G with the increased wing incidence. The Snap Tite Monogram kit is the short wing version so all three major types can be built in 1/72. I recently found the B-26F/G kit but they are more scarce than the Hasegawa B-26C.

The C model Marauder is generally the same as its twin, the B, except it was built in Omaha. C block numbers ran 10 behind the B. So a B-55 is equivalent to a C-45. So the Hasegawa C kit is functionally the same as a B.
