Having built one already, I knew what to look out for on this one, so I got a much better fit on the nose, (which is a real bad fit, unless you modify it to fit), although there were still gaps in the wing roots, which needed plasticard in spots as they are to wide for just filler. Kudos to Airfix for including 2 RAAF marking options in this kit.I used Vallejo Aluminium metal color for the aircraft colour, and dark aluminium for wheel wells and landing gear. Other paints used, Tamiya acrylic. Flory dark dirt wash and Ak landing gear wash and AK Gauzy for gloss coats.
Looks great, Grant. When I built mine I had to make some adjustments to the nose, the gun doors, and the cockpit because the gun panels seemed too wide, But a very nice kit overall, I thought. Don't remember any wing root issues.
