This come to me part built to finish off for someone. Some of the decals are from a Classic Airframes Vampire kit, and I had to scrounge through some really old Australian decals to finish it off.

AK Xtreme metal Aluminium is the fuselage colour.

Looks great! I saw a vampire fly at an airshow once.  I was amazed at how small, fast and quiet it was.

She's a very nice build. I remember reading once that ground crews would push down on the tail on the older ones to drain leaky fuel and oil out of the belly.

The Shepherd by Frederick Forsyth is a great ghost story with a Vampire in it.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

I’ll second that about Forsyth. Alan Maitland read that story for a CBC broadcast and he‘s fantastic. Search it on YT. I listen every Christmas along with Dylan Thomas‘ “A Child’s Christmas in Wales”
