Yes!  It also comes with two upper cowlings and two lower cowlings.  The kit is designed so the modeller may switch between cowls open or cowls closed.  It uses magnets to hold those pieces in place.  The engine does look nice, but I prefer the cowls closed.  It looks sleek that way.  However, I have the option of putting it on a base with mechanics or armorers to show it getting serviced.  It's some great engineering on an interesting feature from Tamiya.  

Very well done.  Tamiya just keeps doing better and better.

Thank you.  I just saw the New-Product-Rundown of Tamiya's new Spitfire.  It looks very nice as well.  I wouldn't think these two subjects needed to be re-done, but the new ones are on a level above the old offerings.

I've used Tamiya's XF-86 Clear Flat for my last two builds.  I like it.  I mix it 50/50 with Tamiya X-20A thinner, and I apply it between 3 and 6 inches away from the model with "medium" air pressure.  Sorry, I do not have a gauge, I just go by the pressure knob position.  

You did a great job on the mottling. Very nice 109.

The mottling was a new challenge, and it turned out well.  However, I left some room for improvement.
