Gunze's acrylic Metallic Blue Green H063 has been my go-to paint for the Aotaki color for years.

Also, Mission Models have a color available: https://www.missionmodelsus.com/products/aotaki-blue-green

Take a look at Aggieman's Monogram Zero build pics a few threads below.  He is using Vallejo's Aotake over a Tamiya IJN green.

Others may chime in with what thay are using as well.

I've been just using Alclad aluminum and then overspraying with a little Tamiya translucent blue. You can even mix in a little yellow to get a slight discoloured green tinge to it.

Help - "Metalizer" Metalic Blue
Posted by davenport_r on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 11:03 AM

I'm about to exhaust a bottle of Metalizer Metalic Blue, which has been great for the translucent blue of interior surfaces of Japanese aircraft.  I can't find a replacement.  Does anyone have a recommendation?
