I can't remember if I posted the build of this, but if I did then I forgot to put up the finished pictures. I apologise to you all.
THis was built up in rather a hurry for the manufacturer to show at SMW at Telford. In actual fact last year was (mostly) devoted to the Lancaster which had just been released and thanks to one of the helpers throwing a strop about me providing some built up examples (aparantly I'm not in his little club) it didn't end up on the display, but caught quite a bit of attention as it sat in it's box alongside the PR Mossie on the floor next to the table. Not a happy bunny that man (really needs some people skills) and was told by HK's owner that if he damaged the models he would be responsible for replacing them out of his own pocket at UK prices!
The only damage was that caused by transit on the rail network and it was just the radar stuff on the wings!
Since Telford I have fixed the broken items and got some good shots of this.
I took this up to our friends italian restaurant as I usually do when I finish my builds as Orlando likes to see them and it caught attention of the kids and adults dining that night and on my way to the bar and coffe after dinner had to answer several questions about the aircraft and kit.
Orlando is going to have a fit when I take up the 1/32 Lancaster!
