Classic Airframes find
Posted by ChrisJH666 on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 1:25 PM

I know that Classic Airframes stuff is no longer available and is rare as rocking horse do-do's, so I was suprised to find a couple of TA-4J Aggressor kits at my local model shop, and for only A$ 49-95. Anyone interested in further details?

In the queue: 1/48 Beech Staggerwing (RAAF), P38 (RAAF), Vultee Vengeance (RAAF), Spitfire Vb (Malta), Spitfire VIII x2 (RAAF), P39 x2 (RAAF), Martin Baltimore (Malta?), Martin Maryland (Malta), Typhoon NF1b, Hellcat x2 (FAA)

I've built a few Classic Airframes kits though not the TA-4J. They make great models though they do require a bit of elbow grease. I think I have a TA-4J in my stash somewhere I picked up with some special convention decals.

I have always regretted the demise of Classic Airframes.  I am a fan of their kits.

The problem is they were the only ones to produce a number of significant aircraft
