Albion Alloys makes two combination sets of small tubing that "nest". They're very handy for telescoping details of all kinds, gun barrels, landing gear and other small round stuff. I bought mine from Sprue Brothers or Scalehobbyist, can't remember which at the moment.

 

Albion has some neat stuff. I also have some old syringes left over from my diabetic father in law (RIP). These make great barrels too.

I get hypo syringes ( for modeling mind you ) on Ebay.  I found a comprehensive chart of the OD  and ID   sizes  (for proper telescoping or nesting ) on Google, then order any size that suits your needs.  They come with a plastic screw-in end that can easliy be burned off wth a match flame.

I have a collection of different size syringe needles; if it's possible to come by them.  Not from a past habit I hasten to add.

Master does a pair of metal .30 Cal barrels, not sure if they are the right type.

Quickboost resin are nice, these metal ones are even better, i use 72nd ones when ever i can.

The nose cannon is 37 mm, or 1.46 inches (bore). At 1/48, thats a tube with an inside diameter of 0.03 inches, about 1/32".

I think I just found my answer- it seems Quickboost makes resin details.
