Hi Grant,

Saw this pop up on my Facebook feed today, very nicely done! Sometimes it’s nice to just build a kit and follow the directions without adding all the microscopic bits, eh? You’d never know you got this one cranked out so quickly, looks very nice!

Can you explain your comment about Mr. Mark Softer? I have both the setter and softer, I always put the (blue) setter down first. Have I been doing it backwards?

No, you are correct, blue softens and green sets, but Gunze label the blue "setter" and the green "softer", when really it's opposite, blue first and green second

Chris, that is just the kit's decal, it is 2 decals, but I sliced them in halves again to get them to conform to the awkward shape better, and I used Gunze Mr. Mark Softer (green lid, this is actually the setter), as it is stronger than micro sol, but be careful with hthis stuff, it will eat your paint and leave stains if you use to much.

Yep John, this is an easy kit, I have built it before, but that really didn't make it quicker, I think I did it in afew days last time to, Trumpy have some good kits that are nice and quick, soothes the soul after some of the harder ones.

This was a nice *** restorer, a 3 day build, nice and quick and no hassles. OOB build.

Painted with Gunze, Tamiya and Mission Models acrylics, Vallejo metal colour, Citadel metal colours, Flory Dark Dirt wash, Mig Satin Varnish.
