Thanks! Humbrol is put of stock, but Model Master has it. The forum always provides...now in record time!

Look for "neutral grey". That's the color.

P-38 paint/color question part duex
Posted by Brian2015 on Saturday, March 9, 2019 5:20 PM

Hello, all!

If you saw my post from back when, I am painting an F-35 as a P-38 from the Pacific theater. I have most of what I need to complete my vision, but I cannot figure out what color to use for the belly of the plane.  I am going with OD on top and the grey belly, but cannot determine what grey to use. Since I do not have a P-38 kit, I have no guidance. Also, the P-38 kit instructions that I can find online are either bare metal or one-tone black(ish).

Does anyone have any insight? FWIW I am planning on using Humbrol enamels.

Thanks!
