Thanks PJ.  The decal sheet showed a greener shade of blue, but went with that because I couldn't get a mix that matched that well to the callout.

LOL, guess some witches can be sexy tooEmbarrassed

Thanks BK, wingspan is just over 17" with the tip floats up, length is 10 1/2". Figure what, a third bigger, in 1/48?   Got the Academy "Black Cat" in the stash..That one will be done with floats up/gear down.

Was planning on eventually putting this one on water/dock scene, but that's way down the line.

1/72 and still has that wing span. Yikes!! I want to do a 1/48, hmm, the size though. Great work on that old kit. It looks really good. Well done.

Appreciate it gentlemen.  For an old kit was pretty clean molding with minimal flash and sinkholes/ejector pin marks.

Just finished this one up for Bish's Commonwealth GB.

Represents a PBY flown by Flt Lt Scholes in the Solomons in '45.  Was damaged beyond repair in a hard landing after only a few flights.  Old Revell kit.

Minimal pit detail

Wings and fuselage glued up.

Close up of "Wandering Witch" artwork.  Canopy not finish fitted yet.

Paints are MM camo gray and Vallejo dark blue.  Decals are Kits World War Birds.
