Museum Donations WW1
Posted by Bocks Suv on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 3:20 PM

Ive been working with a local airport (in Northern Virginia) that has a decent sized museum (for a regional airport) dedicated to historical planes and memorabilia. Theyre most proud of their WW1 exhibits, since they can talk about the significance of each plane, historically and technologically. They'd like to expand this section with the list below.

The current collection is balsa, so the planes are large 20"+, but not super-detailed. If you have, or know someone, already-built balsa models that you'd be willing to donate or sell resonably, it would be a big help. I think large scale plastic builds or kits (1/28+) would be suitable as well.

I'm sure they'd cover packing and shipping costs. Glad to hear what you've got or put you in touch with the Museum Director.

Thx
