Hey people!

Just wondering if anyone has made one of these ANCIENT kits??

This is the first time I've made a kit as old as I am, so wondering if there are any mods etc needed to make it a touch more accurate.

Cheers

Sean

There is a website www.j-aircraft.com that you may want to visit. A very talented Steve Hustad describes his build-up of this kit. The pictures of the finished model are gorgeous. Hope it helps. I too have this kit and am a bit intimidated with how to make the simulated rivets and panel lines look right.

That was my first scare also. But I made the decision to rescribe all panel lines and sand the rivets flush.

Lets face it, the rivet detail is not to scale, and will probably look gawdy after painting and weathering.
