I too have this kit and am a bit intimidated with how to make the simulated rivets and panel lines look right.

That was my first scare also. But I made the decision to rescribe all panel lines and sand the rivets flush.

Lets face it, the rivet detail is not to scale, and will probably look gawdy after painting and weathering.
