Gorgeous!

You people really have to stop filling my head with ideas!  I have neither the time, nor the finances to keep buying all these kits!!!Big Smile

Really nice job.  I built that kit maybe 25 years ago and want to do another one.  Yours turned out great!  Ditto on the weathering.

Thanks,

John

Very well done on the classic Tamiya Rufe. I definately agree about the restrained weathering. Just the right amount to my eye.

That's some really nice work!!! Love the weathering esp on the float. It's so easy to overdo!

Just completed a Tamiya Rufe, very enjoyable kit. Although an older kit, parts fit with typical Tamiya precision. The kit included a cart, two airmen, and a ladder. I replaced the nose guns with wire, added tape seatbelts, and used a modified staple for the tail tie-down loop.

Paint is Tamiya Sea Blue XF-17 for the cowl, and Tamiya XF-76 Gray Green for the rest of the plane. Future for the gloss coat, brown/black oil wash, pastels, and silver pencil for weathering. Thanks for looking!  Joe
