Any tips for building a Monogram 1/48 B-25
Posted by JohnnyK on Monday, June 24, 2019 7:30 PM

I just purchased one of these:

Has anyone recently built one of Monogram's/Revell's B-25's? I have built a number of Monogram/Revell bombers and they all have a few "gotchas". Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Your comments and questions are always welcome.

In my opinion the main thing is keeping the twin tails square with the stabilizer and of course the wings.  Thats a gremlin in the B-24s.  Careful fitting and sanding can eliminate some putty work. IMHO this is a good value kit that turns out good out of the box or you can go into a detail frenzy and really make it pop.

careful with the nose weight too much and the nose gear could break.
