Looks great!

Love the subtle weathering/shading, and nice panel lines.

Another great one, Grant. A fine tribute to the Colonel. Thanks for the post and photos.

Neel Kearby had 22 confirmed aerial victories, all 4 Gingers were named for Kearby's wife. Kearby is the first United States Army Air Forces fighter pilot to receive the Medal of Honour. He scored total 22 aerial victories and remains the top scoring P-47 pilot in the Pacific Theater. He was shot down and killed.

(some of this info is from Wikipedia, so I don't know if it's spot on)

Painted with Tamiya, Gunze, Mission Models acrylics, Vallejo Metal Color, Flory dark dirt wash and Vallejo Matte Varnish.
I don't do much Tamiya, but this kit went together great and was a joy to build, only took a few days.
