Mopar Madness,
The main problem areas are the lower canopy/windscreen line and the intakes. The canopy sill is too low and dips too far down as it reaches the front of the windscreen. This causes both to look off. This is not a “red line brigade” issue, as it is apparent just looking at the model. The intakes should be straight half cylinders without any bulges. It is unknown how AFV Club tooled the kit this way, and more so that Taiwan (where they are) operated the type.

Beautiful. Kit-included warts and all. Yours is the first one I have seen built. And in my favorite scheme too.
I have plans to try to graft an old Hawk U-2A forward fuse and intakes to this kit, assuming Lucky Models ever ships my kit. I’ve been waiting since the end of May. Again, I have yet to see anyone attempt this, despite much discussion about it.
From prototype photos of the U-2C mock up seen at hobby shows, it appears that AFV Club intend to correct the canopy sill line. I hope they do the 2-seater as well.

I know this kit has shape issues, but I don't care, looks like a U-2 to me, AFV Club have done a good job with this kit, goes together great, despite a couple of fit issues (which I think may have been my own doing) The wings fit on to the fuselage beautiful. I was concerned with the decals, but they conformed nicely with micro sol.Metal work is AK Xtreme, Aluminium the base, and a few other shades on to random panels, also used Gunze, Tamiya, Vallejo metal colour, Flory dark dirt wash and AK Gauzy. Pretty big model, 32cm long x 51cm wide.
