Hi, I haven't been around for a long time, I hope y'all don't mind me jumping in with a question.
I'm working on the Airfix 1/24 Hellcat and bought the Eduard interior photoetch set. The side consoles are a combination of bare metal and a sort of beige color. All the control panels you add to them are black, which is good, but I don't understand why they aren't interior green. The radio equipment that mounts in the fuselage are this beige color as well. From what I've seen on the IPMS site this color kind of matches a primer that Grumman used in this time frame.
I don't know what to do. Should I just paint these parts interior green and then add all the details?
