That's a nice metallic finish Frank!

Tim, this summer I built the Airfix F-80 kit and I'm quite happy with it. I bought it at a show for a couple of dollars. The decals are an old set of Microscale Decals. Anyway, the outline is pretty correct and it finishes up nice.

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...

The Sword kit is much newer and far better than the vintage Airfix kit. The old Airfix kit will have raised panel lines and rivets and questionable fit.  The newer Sword kit will have crisply molded details and most likely better fit.

Hi.

Which is a better kit in 1:72, Airfix or Sword?

Tim
