Website for detail or p/e sets?
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 10:47 PM
Does anyone know of any websites other that squadron.com or rollmodels.com that have photoetched parts or detail sets? I'm having difficulty finding non dedicated sets.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

you can always try

and do a search by subject or by type of items you are after!

Also check out www.aviationusk.com . This is a small mailorder company in Nebraska. They handle a lot of detail sets and conversion kits as well as full kits.

I've had pretty good luck with Meteor. Here is their web site. The only thing about them is that you have to check to see if they have the product. You can order something and not know if it is coming. I would first e-mail them to find out if what you want is in stock.

Another is VLS which seems to be turning into Model Meca. Their web site is...

Check out Flightdecs. They are clearing out their resin and PE stuff. 40% off. Good people there. They are also a resource for decals. They're trying to make that their niche in the market.

One other that I've come across but haven't had any experience with is CAM. They specialize in mostly navy/marine subjects with details sets in 1/32.

Good luck!
