Hey Everyone,

I hope I've attached these images correctly, as they show a spread of about 10 years spent building models. The subject is the same, the P-51D, but the manufacturers are different. "Big Beautiful Doll" is the Revell kit and has seen better days (younger siblings...) and "Petie Second" is Tamiya's kit.

The Tamiya kit was my first attempt using Micro Sol/Micro Set, and I have to say I was impressed with the results. I do have to purchase some cotton swabs though as the paper towels I used had the nasty tendency to not absorb any moisture and move the decals.

The blue nose is testors paint, so when I removed the masking tape I was using some of the paint came with it. The shade of blue is at least correct to my eyes, maybe a little bright. There is a nasty bit of aluminium silver paint where I tried to correct the lifted paint, but I'm not sure if you can see it in these pictures.

Anyway, these are my mustangs. On deck I've got... wow a lot, so we'll see what comes of that.
