The boys on the production line deserve a well earned vacation! They all look great!

Nice collection! I'm working on a couple of these kits myself.

Quite a lot of detail in these little kits and very enjoyable to build.

Thanks guys. Mike the only complaint I have after building six of them is the sprue placement of the control stick and the dorsal antenna. Broke quite a few

I know what you mean. I broke the first one and managed to free the second one by only bending it slightly. Cleaning up the seams was a lesson in fine motor skills lol.

So far the control sticks were the hardest parts to clean up.

there's one more Academy one coming. But the brain cell department forgot to paint the ID stripes in the wings. So it set it back a few days

in the pic of the 6 I just built the back left corner is LouIV. That's the academy kit. It's the only kit available that's the earlier D-5 without the fillet. But it has issues. The big one is the 14 cyl Merlin (extra exhaust on each side) I had a generic resin dropped flap so I cut the wings and added those. It's a typical 80's kit. I also used Eagle Strike decals because the kit ones are for a later version which I used on one of the Airfix kits. The one with the white nose. John

Thanks John. I also have that Academy kit and the later corrected issue ( with 12 exhausts). Another issue is that the wings don't have dihedral. The Airfix ones look great. I like also the other stuff in the display case, I'm also a 1/72 aircraft modeler.

The newer Academy is coming up shortly. Had it started with the others but it fell behind. I build anything 48th and smaller. But I've been on a 72nd tear lately. Going back to my youth
