Do-24 T-3 1/72 Italeri
Posted by TREYZX10R on Saturday, November 23, 2019 11:15 AM

Finished this in a Night insurgent theme that I found a picture of on line. The Airframe was found abandoned at Schleswig in November 1944. This was one of 4 D0-24's supposedly attached to Kg200 but cannot confirm this .The picture is not of great quality but you can barely make out the code A3+E? and the top wing Balkenkruz are not painted on. I added some interior detail as well as the upper fuselage stiffiners and the upper hatch with portal window that Italeri left out on this molding.

Thats really nicely done Trey, great job on the black underside. I really liked this kit when i built it a couple of years back.

Thanks for the kind words Bish, agree its not a bad kit just needed some tweaking. I do'nt usually do 1/72 but with this the 1/48 options are too expensive and from what I've read are beastly kits. I missed your build , going to have to look back and find it, You always do justice to your subjects!

Mine was back in 2016 for the Float Plane GB. I think i used Print Scale decals on it.
