D0-18D 1/72 Revell/Italeri/Matchbox

Last build for 2019 is the old Matchbox DO-18 . I finished this as a Do-18D one that belonged to 2./Ku.FI.Gr506 . The intakes on the engine nacelles had to be reworked,exhaust stacks in the wings added , stringers added to the top side as well as panel lines on the Fuselage. I finished it with Model master enamels , weathered with water based acrylics and had a Friend print out the decals. The only kit available for this subject and some what klunky , with some tweaking it still builds out into a decent representation of the subject. What struck me as odd is the box art has the correct engine intakes yet ,the inside kit is wrong

That looks great, what a unique aircraft. I've never seen this one, looks like the German version of a Walrus.

That's an awesome build!  I've got one of these in the stash and have been telling myself I've got to give it a go.
