Hello Grant!

Your model looks great, as always. Now here's my take on that aircraft - just a little smaller!

Grant - That's a right beautiful job you made of it, and your canopy masking is perfectly fine. Impressive overall, thanks for the post and photos.

That turned out great!  Love the colorful markings of the day.  I just finished the 1/48 F-84F (swept wing with the crazy canopy articulation)  Hard to believe they are both F-84s.

Anyhow, I'm an alclad II guy but that AK finish looks great - may have to try that.

Thanks,

John

[quote user="tempestjohnny"]Very nice. First time I've seen you do a big scale

Cheers, yeah I've done a few over the years, 3 Trumpy Mig-17's, Italeri Mirage IIIC, Hobby Boss Sturmovik comes to mind, maybe a couple more

OOB build, great kit, really enjoyed it, used micro sol for decals, they  performed pretty well considering some of their sizes, the tail ones didn't set deep enough in some places, so you don't see all the rivet detail, but for OOB,  Ithink they went well.

Metal work is AK Xtreme Aluminium, glossed with AK Gauzy. Other paints used were Gunze and Tamiya, Flory dark dirt wash, Tamiya panel line wash.

For $70 AUD  I think this is a great kit.
