Kit: 1/48 Tamiya F4U-1A Corsair Aftermarket: Eduard bits here and there (mostly cockpit) Paints/Stuff: Tamiya, Alcad Aluminum, MIG Chipping fluid, Windsor and Newton oils (for gas/oil leaks/pin washes), and my fingers Brushes: All Windsor and Newton (0,00,000) Wash/Pin: Most of the Flory ones (yes...i used almost all of them), Tamiya black wash Sanding: Flory sticks, Falcon sticks, Starcke waterproof sheets Airbrush: .35 Iwata eclipse (My 2-1 Harder and Steenbeck due in a few days!)
I built this as my last model of 2109, which was the first year in 40 or so years I've modeled again and I used it to get ready to tackle the same aircraft next (Tamiya Corsair) in 1/32 scale. All photo's taken w/Nikon 5100 and I used the auto-correct feature in Photoshop when you open the RAW (NEF) file, reduced the file size to fit here.
