Well, Kinetic have come along with with the quality of their kits, the Starfighter is an excellent kit, although their instructions have not improved though, with some vague areas and wrong call outs.

Kit- 1/48 Kinetic F-104J
Decals- Xtradecal (X48210) and kit decals (which are cartograph)
Some lead wiring added as well.

Painted with Ak Xtreme metals, Gunze buffable metalizer, Gunze and Tamiya acrylics, Vallejo metal colour, Flory dark dirt wash and AK Gauzy.

Thoroughly enjoyed this kit and build, I will be getting every boxing they bring out of the F-104 I reckon.

Glad to see they have a nice kit here. The last Kintetic kit I built was a total let down. Perhaps I can give them another go. Well done on another kit, Grant.

Hmmmmm :

Always did like the " Missile with a Man in it ". I think it was for me anyway,The best looking plane out there in it's day. It's funny. Our Pilots didn't seem to care for it. Why? because she required " Hot"  abilities in her Pilot?

Too Bad so sad. We seem always to drift toward "Flying Dump Trucks " like the F-4-J! Which, surprisingly, I like as well. The "Century Series" aircraft certainly had some Lookers in the Mix

That’s a nice looking finish on a very attractive bird. How did you create the base?
