Hi, thanx for the info ,I will go measure out the get the masks cut.

 

John yes I did make the molds, all 20 pieces it takes to mold 1 P-51 ;-)

This one is bund for someone in the US and I will be starting kit production for export next month.

Did you make a fiberglass mold for that, Theunis?  It looks pretty good!

I've not come across anything about fuselage or serial numbers, but if you have a decent photo you could scale those to the known size of the national insignia.

I am developing a RC kit of a 1/5 P-51d and will have to paint soon, can somene point me in the right direction where I can go to find the standard sizes of the star/bar and size codes used? 

 

I want to have masks made up and sray it on.
