Cockpit canopies.

Hello everyone! This is my first post on here and I'm still doing my best to navigate around the site, so please forgive me if this topic has already been covered somewhere else - it probably has.

I have just bought the Special Hobby 'Marines Go To War' 1/72 Vought Vindicator kit number 72264, and as this is my first foray into plastic kits for about fifty years, I'm having to do a shed load of research just to catch up on current tools, methods and tricks of the trade.

I would really like to do my very best to display the inside of the cockpit, but the canopy in the kit is a one piece offering. This means that I will have to cut it into five pieces. For this I will obviously need a saw and some tips on the actual cutting itself. I cannot find any ready-cut aftermaket canopies, so it's up to me to get the job done.

Any help gratefully appreciated.
