                        This is a rather old kit. The molds are from 1962 and this is the 1986 release.

                        The 34 year old decals were toast, so I will order decals for the 'Liberty Belle'.  She was a survivor and airworthy to boot, however she was lost to a fuel leak fire on May 6, 2014.

                        I took a ride on the Liberty Belle when she came by on tour.  It was a beautifully restored airplane.  I'm just thankful that no one was injured in the crash.  A sad day for many fans of vintage aircraft.

                        Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...

                        Cadet Chuck, I am envious, to ride in any antique aircraft would be a treat.

                        I went to my first one this past fall. Great experiance, even got to walk through a C-5M super Galaxy a couple of times!
