Italian Aircraft WWII color question
Posted by Stuart06 on Sunday, March 22, 2020 10:44 AM

I am trying to duplicate the Giallo Mimetico 3 color only using Tamyia paints.

If anyone that has a good eye for color can recommend what Tamyia colors can be mixed to get this shade.  I know that Tamyia doesn't make this color, and there are others that may, but I want to stay with Tamyia as it is available to me and works the best in my airbrush.

I'd start with XF-60 Dark Yellow and maybe add a little white.

I just built Tamiya's boxing of Italeri's MC.200.  They use XF-59 Dessert Yellow.

I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.

Have fun.
