The rest of the kit I found is not a great fit and needs to be wressled into place. Glue small sections at a time.

I read a review a while back reporting the same fit issues you are describing. It did build up very nice but it took some work. 

I am happy with that cockpit too!

Yea forgot to say the pit looks very good.

Getting to nose to fit this model is a real PITA, loads of filling and sanding to break my moe joe.

Hopefully afther ths is will be easier.

Calling it done, with all the filling and sanding required to get stuff to fit it came out nice.
