Nice work! I've built a few of the ProfiPack 190s and agree that the Weekend Edition would be tough to do in a weekend.

Your Würger looks great! Perhaps you're depicting the aircraft just after it arrived at the unit -- after the tactical markings were applied but before the field team decided to spruce up the camo scheme?

I have a F6F Hellcat "Weekend Edition" I bought a couple of years ago.... not sure how they get "weekend" out of it, but it looks to be a very nice kit.  Your 190 is wonderful!  Thanks for sharing!

Very sharp looking build PJ. Yes I can only imagine how challenging that cross hatch side pattern was to replicate well. No matter though, your scheme looks just fine in the standard side mottle.

I like it John!  Those new Eduard 190's go together so much better than their older ones. Well done!

Greg;

Thanks very much!  I do have an older Profipack A-7 from Eduard.  I could do a WIP build for that one at some point.  It does not have quite the detail with the wing rivets and if I remember the fuselage is one of the trickier ones from them.

I really like the Mission Models paints as I only do acrylics.  I am starting to focus more on the painting and less on the photo etch stuff.  I think the paint work is more eye-catching than photo etched seat belts and rudder pedals.  Just my opinion though.

Almost done with my F/A-18E from Revell.  I usually have a couple going at the same time.

I like your 190, John. YesYes

Fictitious or not, the paint scheme looks pretty convincing to me. I'm not familiar with the actual yellow 7, but the box art looks well beyond my airbrush skill level too.

Eduard 1:48 190's have such wonderful skin detail you have to be careful not to overpaint or mess up decals. You sure nailed that, all that wonderful Eduard detail pops right through without being overstated.

My only negative is I wish you had done a WIP! Stick out tongue (Though I'm familiar with the 190 profipacks, havent' done a weekend edition yet and I'm curious).

You're mottling is about as minimal as I recall seeing, and I think I really like it quite a lot. Definitely beats overdone, IMO.

Your attention to detail sure is top notch.

This is an Eduard Weekend Edition kit.  I am not sure about the “weekend” part, as giving all the paint and primers and decals time to dry moves beyond a couple of days.  The kit goes together very well as we expect from Eduard.  The only complaint I have is the wing root fittings at the fuselage are a little loose.  The bottom of the fuselage needed to be spread just a bit to make the fit snug.  And of course, the German landing gear is always something to pay attention to when getting the angles correct.  The inner gear doors really didn’t have much in the way of connection points and needed some CA to make them stay put.  Of course, your mileage may vary, and these things may very well be my issues.  Take care with dry fitting and this will be a great looking model.

I wanted to do the scheme of yellow 6 on the box, but I totally am not airbrush skilled enough for that although I tried.  The result was a mess, so I repainted and started over again.  The result was a fictitious scheme using the yellow 6 markings.  Stynylrez was the primer and Mission Models was the paint with some Model Color used to brush paint some of the cockpit.  Weathering was an umber oil wash and some smoke pigments for the exhaust effect.  I built it out of the box except for the radio antenna.  I used EZ Line.  My only issue with EZ Line is that when it comes in contact with CA glue, it tends to kind of wrinkle up.  It doesn’t dry “stiff” like a wire.  Only use the smallest amount of CA needed.  With the position of the antenna on this one that is tough as there are no attachment points included.

Finally, the decals are nice and go on very well.  The only downside is the seat belts being decals are glossy and very two-dimensional and look flat.
