Hasegawa 1/72 F-102A Completed...
Posted by fotofrank on Thursday, April 16, 2020 9:18 AM

I started this back in October! Anyway, this is a W.I.P. jammed into one day.

 .

A Revelll F-102 gave its all so I could close up the weapons bay.

 .

A lot of shimming and Bondo filled all the gaps in the weapons bay doors.

The finished product. Overall Model Master Neutral Gray. The flat black on the nose is Tamiya acrylic. The marking are from Xtradecal and depict an F-102A of the 4756 Combat Crew Training Squadron, Tyndal AFB, FL, mid 1960s. Comments welcome.

Well done, Frank, very clean build.  Now that you are done you probably don't want to know that Lone Star makes a resin part to close the weapons doors.  Might not be available right now anyway.

Yeah, Jeaton, Lone Star and another out of business company made the piece I fabricated. I searched for about a week for both but came up zip.
