Just finished a 1/144 Ki-44 Shoki (Tojo) from the recent Fujimi re-pop. Nice little kit, although the decals came apart when I put them in the water...thousands of little slivers...something you don't expect with a new kit...must have been old stock decals...so I hand painted the markings with the exception of the tail, which I clear coated...

Nice job, Jeff. Love that metallic finish - that bird looks factory-fresh.

Nice job on such a small kit. Shame about the decals.

AWWWW. It's so widdle. Big Smile [:D] What did you use for the NMF. My jug will be wearing one and you've seemed to master it in the scale.

Jeff,

Great Tojo! I'm finishing up "Sweet" models 1/144 Zero and wondered what you used for your radio antenna wire? Looks in-scale which is tough on 1/144?

Regards,

Mike

P.S. The Sweet kit is the best 1/144 scale kit I have ever seen... better than most 1/72nd birds with the exception of no real cockpit.
