Hi folks. I don't venture to this part of the board much. I am by heart a car modeler. I have built aircraft though. This one spent 11 years in the Arkansas Air Museum. I recently brought her home. I hope you enjoyBig Smile [:D]

Nice markings, I am suprised it hasent faded. I went to a museum in Virginia once that had one of the VF-142 kit in the Monogram line and the model was faded and cracked. Looks great for 11 years old. I agree. Do you remember were the markings camre from?

Hi jimz66!! I got the markings from Super Scale decals. I think at one time they were called Microscale. I don't even know if they are still around. The markings belong to VF-84 Jolly Rogers circa 1991 (ish) when they were aboard CVN-71 U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt.

Great looking Tomcat. Held up well over it's relatively long life. Hope to see you more on the Aircraft Forum.
