This is an interesting document about the airplane. https://www.johnweeks.com/p82/index.html

They need to offer the early "short tail" version such as the prototype. At least a P-82B with Merlins.
OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...
Is that N Korean fighter trying to cut off the F-82? No turn signal lights. Very rude. No wonder he got shot down.
“Ya ya ya, unicorn papoi!”
So maybe we'll see more decals for the F-82. I have the modelcraft kit in the stash...
Thanks,
John

Bonus.
Real G I’m in for the night fighter variant. So cool with its sleek black paint job and that big “hot dog” of a radome. Oh, and I believe Caracal is doing a decal sheet.

At least they have the props right; counter rotate and climb.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Man I’ve been wanting a new one of this kit in 1/48. I really wish that Revell had tackled it. But every firsthand description of the Modelcraft F-82 is not good, to say nicely.
Based on their latest releases (XP-55, P-51H), it should be a good one. Time to forget the Modelcraft kits.
They have also announced a XP-54 “Swoose Goose” and XP-56 “Black Bullet”. Exciting times.
