Lost part replacement for 1/72 Airfix Fairey Swordfish

Mike is currently recovering from very difficult surgery, and can't work for long on his models because of excessive pain.In addition, he doesn't think that he has the necessary skills to make a part from scratch. He was hoping to find that part so he could finish the model without any added difficulties.

That is a tough one to lose. No mirror image part like most parts on an aircraft.

It could probably be replicated to a satisfactory degree with some rod and a piece of sprue turned down in a drill chuck.

Ye, sorry, for some reason i thought you were asking for a canpoy, don't know how i read that. After i re-read it, i went back and checked if there was a hub in my set or any of the others, but there isn't. Sorry. Unless someone has an old kit they have broken up, i think a part like that is going to be hard to get.

Whish boxing is that, that code is not showing on scalemates. I have this kit which is the original new toled kit.

But i have a Mk III conversion set which includes and enclosed canopy, so i don't need the kit part. I take it you just need the screen in front of the pilot.

Mike wrote to Airfix, but Covid-19 has put a hold on their parts-replacement service.

Unfortunately I do not.  But, you can order spare parts from their website. They are usually quite responsive when it comes to spare parts.
