Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc, ROG 1/32 03927, seat armor missing?

Hi,
Lots of Spitfires arround these BOB days and I am starting to want one as well.
The item above from Revell of Germany comes at a decent price but online reviews are ponting out some issues - one of them beeing a missing armor plate behind the pilots seat.
The cone shaped head armor is there but a large square plate is apparently lacking.
If anyone could advice I would be most greatfull!
