1/32 Trumpeter P-51B Mustang Mk. III - 3 Squadron, RAAF, Italy 1944/45
This is an OOB build, the kit does come with some PE frets. Took longer than I had wanted, bit of a *** killer really, tried something new with it, using a splatter stencil, I sprayed some white over the grey primer before doing pre-shading to change the final paint tones.
Painted with Mr. Hobby, Mr. Color, Tamiya, AK Real Color, Vallejo metal color, Flory dark dirt wash and some oil paints, final coat was with Mr. Color Flat clear.
I think it would be a better kit with some AM wheels, (kit ones are rubber), and maybe a resin cockpit, but I just wanted an OOB build.
