I've been looking for information about 56th FG P-47 colors, but I haven't been able to find anything decisive. I would like to know when exactly the first natural metal finish as well as RAF camo aircraft appeared.
I know that it happened in Spring 1944, but I would like a more specific date.
Does anyone have any info about this please?
