WIP: Tamiya 1/48 Corsair

Hi all, with some excellent instructions from Bvallot, I'm made my first attempt at the hairspray chipping technique.

I think it's not bad considering. I would have liked to get more of the aluminium showing but that's for another time.

Pity about the tide-marks left by the water. perhaps they will be tamed through the rest of the processes I have planned.

Take it easy - a careful wipe over with a damp (not wet) soft cloth will probably take care of the water stains.

Vell, Zaphod's just zis guy, you know?

Here's some progress, reasonably happy with the result, with a few caveats.
im not sure why, but Mr. Mark Softer burned through my Vallejo Gloss coat, which had dried over 48 hours. I don't like Tamiya decals, so will probably get aftermarket ones next time. As usual, let me know how to improve. I have no idea how to weather this bird or do the panel lines - shoul I use Tamiya grey panel liner for example?
