To let y'all know this was the Revell 1/48 kit i bought back some 16 years ago.Not a bad kit but had a few issuse with it but nothing that could be fixed. Also for those who are interest in that type of paint scheme, the Checz put out on where the bottom half of the plane was painted in a shark design and also the digital winter design.Might buy me another one just to do the digital design. You can see all the types of camos done on this aircraft by google or bing search..

  thanks for all the comments,Digger

Hello!

I've built the OEZ kit back in the early nineties, when it was brand new. Back then it was excellent value for the money. It was the first model I painted with the airbrush. The detail looked amazing, and the kit also had a lot of "things that go boom" to put under the wings. So if you can get your hands on one I recommend it! Have a nice day

Learn something every day! Very interesting scheme. I've got two of the OEZ/KP kits, the single seater and the trainer with about a pound of AM detailing, but I hesitate to start one. Kitty Hawk has been promising a 1/48 Su-25 for about a year, which would no doubt show up when I'm halfway through.

Id like to build the KP kit one day. It looks like they offer several versions.

The scheme was for real. A one off demonstration type.

Yours came out looking real good Digger!

For the longest time in 1/48, the only kits available were the ones by Monogram and KP. I built the Monogram one in Soviet VVS colors as seen in East Germany during the Cold War.

The Frogfoot is super cool and somewhat hard to come by in kit form. You don't see too many for sale very often. I have one in the stash as well. Yours came out very nice. Love the scheme.

Nice work!  I really like that plane.  Lots of hard points like the A10

Thanks,

John

Don't think I've seen that camo before is it actual or a "what if"? Nice build of a very stocky, mean looking aircraft!

It is the Checz.paint scheme for the tiger meet air show in Europe
