I've only built two of their kits, the E-2C Hawkeye and the S-2F Tracker.  I was pleased overall in that I was able to complete both to where they look good.  Interior details were a bit sparse, especially with the Tracker.  I added some details, enhanced the seats with arm rests and belts, stuff like that, but once finished, very little of what I added is actually visible.  Instruction sheets were not great, seeming to require some sort of advanced degree to determine where some parts were meant to go, and requiring outside sources to verify painting callouts.

Looking for feedback on Kinetic airplane kits...

Hi:  Tonight I expect to finish my first Kinetic airplane kit, the F104G Starfighter.  After reading a positive review in FSM, I picked up the kit and was very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.  I was very happy with the fit and surface detail, especially in the landing gear bays.  Some details, like the use of clear parts, and the canopy framing, were brilliant. There are a lot of Kinetic kits out there but I'm a little hesitant about some of the earlier ones.  Can anyone tell me some of the Kinetic kits they've built and had good experience with?  Thank you.
