Well I didn't want to get into that with the holidays coming up .Maybe next time.
Okay;
Here's one for you. If I had built that I would've taken certain parts of those framing and detail pictures and done cut-aways in the plane. Next one maybe?
Again-Yikes!
That's a Biggie! Good job. I can't think of one in paper more difficult, unless it would be the B-24!
Yes it would be most impressive!I dud make a paper Titanic.not a great kit but it is large!
That's what I mean;
See, I buy paper Models and they come in various size envelopes. They never can go back in one though. The Andrea Doria is a bunch of sheets, Now a partially built 37 inch long monster on my shelf.
I still wonder what she would be like in 1/200 in plastic! Big enough and detailed enough in paper, Really! Wait till you get her finished!
22 inch wing span!
Progress continues... 8
Nope live in NE Ohio!
Hi Philo 426;
If You live in Northern california and are near Martinez,Ca. It was last seen in the Rec Room Ceiling fleet of the Local V.A.Facility.This was over eighteen years ago Soooo.
Ok may not look like much but the front cowling section consists of multiple formers that have to be traced out and cut out of 1/16 "basswood!
Inner wing structure assembled.
I would like to see a picture. Of that Tanker!
Philo 426;
You gotta be kidding! That is a bear to build. I got sassy with mine and duplicated all the framing with light brass strip. So I could put a cockpit in it! I think it still hangs in a V.A. Hospital Rec.Room!
Yes I thought it was a descriptive term.
Cartographer? I spent a lot of years in digital cartography. Somewhere I have a copy of John Snyders book on projections. Looks more conic ;)
Kit is coming along nicely!
Thanks,
John
Ok progress continues...the cone at the rear of the fuselage was very difficult.The cone resembled a Mercator projection that has 9 petals that have to join together to form the cone.I decided to put 3 different sized washers to join them together .far from. Perfect but acceptable I guess!
modelcrazy Greg, they were suprisingly tough little buggers. They were powered by the same engines that powered the Storch. They beat out the BV-141 for an observation platform and were used later as a night fighter.

I can always count on you for interesting details about aircraft!
Always appreciated, thanks Steve.
Nope!just a Polish Paper Kit!
