I think every boy in a certain age group built one of those and the opposing Red Baron Fokker Tri plane.

You did a fine job on the old Camel!

F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!

U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!

N is for NO SURVIVORS...

This is the first Aurora kit I've built since I was about 10 years old.  My kit is a 1967 reboxing of Aurora's kit first released in 1957.  I built it 'out of the box' except for the ezLine rigging.  The original 44 year old decals came apart so I ended up painting all the markings except for the number on the rudder and the 'lift here's' on the rear fuselage.  Its a little bit 'toy like' by modern standards, but gee whiz, it was state of the art 63 years ago.  Markings are of Canadian Lt. Roy Brown's (RAF 1915 -1918) Camel
